Provide a brief description of your company and the products?

You may know us as a company offering stylish purses, accessories and products that help organize the lives of busy women and their families. But we are more than that. We are committed to providing an opportunity for women to achieve financial freedom, find personal fulfillment and realize their dreams.
Our mission is to celebrate, encourage and reward women by offering quality products and an outstanding opportunity to become successful business owners. We have seen this mission play out through the years in the individual lives of so many women who now have their own “Thirty-One story.” Many work full-time jobs and use their Thirty-One income to help pay for those extras like vacations. Some of our Consultants had a dream to be debt-free and have paid off houses and cars. Others have seen Thirty-One become a lifeline to their families in difficult economic times. Despite all the bad news we hear today, our Consultants are selling at record rates.

Provide a brief company history including how long in business and how many consultants in how many countries.

Thirty-One is a faith-based company that started 7 years ago in Chattanooga, TN. Today, our Thirty-One family has grown to more than 30,000 Consultants nationwide (Currently, we are only in the 50 United States, we do not ship outside the U.S,), and we expanded from our Home Office in Johnstown, Ohio, to add a second location in Columbus.
The name Thirty-One comes from the verses of Proverbs 31. These words may be thousands of years old, but I am constantly amazed by how today’s modern woman can relate to them. Don’t we all want to be strong, dignified and wise? The Proverbs 31 woman is dearly loved and respected by him and her children, yet she is an individual in her own right. She manages the home and property with kindness and integrity. Her savvy business skills are partly brought about by her desire to serve others, to do good deeds and prosper. I knew women just like this, and I wanted to find a way for every woman to be recognized for who they are and for their hard work!

What is the cost to start up? What comes in the startup kit?

Start a new future for just $99 Our enrollment kit, with a value of over $300, provides a dynamic assortment of coordinating products to give you a successful start. You’ll also receive helpful tools and support materials. You’ll have everything you need to be able to confidently share ideas at parties to help busy women organize their lives beautifully!

Are there any additional expenses (startup, yearly renewal, website, etc)?

We have other expenses that will help grow your business throughout the year. You can have personal Thirty-One website, it is optional, for only $9.99 a month. We also have an optional newsletter you can send your customers for only $2.99 a month that include our monthly specials. These are tools that are provided at a nominal fee by the company.

How much is the commission on personal sales and downline? How often are consultants paid?

New consultants start their commission at 25% and at every promotion move up to a new commission level and earn an override percentage. Commission is paid out twice a month on the 10th and the 25th of the month. Direct deposit is required for payment.

What are some of the additional benefits/rewards consultants can earn?

Thirty-One rewards their consultants throughout the year. From January to May we have the opportunity to earn dream rewards based on your personal sales. You can earn gift certificates for Best Buy, Disney, or a Carnival Cruise. Leaders also have the opportunity to earn an all-expenses paid trip to Mexico. In October we have an amazing opportunity to earn electronics once a week through out the month. There are so many other times during the year they reward us.

I love everything about the company!! We have amazing products, personalization, the training they provide new consultants is great!
