Provide a brief description of your company and the products?

Stella & Dot is one of the hottest, up and coming direct sales companies. We feature boutique-luxe jewels in every price point, and for every age and taste. Our fabulous designs have been favored by both the printed media and television alike, and you may have already seen us in Lucky, InStyle, Oprah Mag, Rachel Ray, Better Homes and Gardens, and on the View and FoxNews Business segments, just to name a few. We offer Style for a Steal, and who could pass that up:-)??

What is your most popular product?

Well, there are several favorites out there, but I would have to say one of the most popular lines is our “Be in Love” Charms collection. I have had several people show interest in this line for its versatility. There is an array of bases (chains, earrings, bangle, and leather cord) on which you can place charms of your choosing - birthstone briolettes, status charms, and symbols. They make the most fantastic gifts, and are perfect as the everyday, “go-to” piece!!

There are also some favorites among our new, fall 2009 line, especially our Black and Silver Bloom Ring - simply Fab!!!

What is your favorite thing about your company?

Being a practicing attorney and mother of two, I needed a side business that was very user-friendly. I had done work with a direct sales company in the past - onerous comp plan, long presentations and product demonstrations. I was done with all that. Stella & Dot offers me the products that I LOVE, and the ease of use. It is jewelry and it is incredible. Parties are a breeze, and I get tons of inquiries simply by wearing the jewelry or even just including my signature at the bottom of my emails with the web address! The training is fun, and easy, and the support, especially on Stylist Space (S&D’s version of social networking) is amazing. Other stylists are happy to work with you, and there is no competitive or territorial atmosphere. I love it!

What has been your best moment with your company?

I would have to say my best moments have been meeting other stylists. There is such a comeraderie, that is unmistakable. I have made a really good friend in another stylist in my area. She and I work together on events, and we find ways to share our leads equitably. I love that aspect…the fact that I can find support in places I might not have thought to look with other direct sales companies.

I also would have to say my other best moment was the moment I decided to jump in! I have not looked back since…and am happy I made the decision to join the company.
