Avon’s most popular product is probably the Skin So Soft bath oil–so many people use it!

What is your favorite thing about your company?

The name recognition is pretty incredible.

Avon has more than 5 million consultants in over 100 countries worldwide.

What is the cost to start up? Are there any additional expenses? At start up or yearly renewal?

It is $10 to start a business with Avon. There is a $7.50/campaign fee to maintain an optional website. There is no yearly renewal fee.

What comes in the start up kit?

Catalogs for your first 2 campaigns, a reference guide, a start-up guide, samples, tote bag, flyers, and how-to instructions for logging into your Avon account online.

How much is the commission on personal sales and downline?

Personal sales = 50% on your first four orders that are placed via Internet and are $50 or more. After the first four orders, the percentage is 20-50% depending on sales. A 20% order is $25-144 and a 50% order is $1,550.

You earn between 3-12% on your downline’s sales, depending on how much each person sells.

New leadership consultants are also eligible for the Fast Start Bonus of $1,010 (in addition to earning on your downline)!

What is the minimum sales requirements to stay active? Is it monthly, quarterly, etc?

Placing an order every 4 campaigns will ensure your account stays active.

If you are a leadership representative, you need to place a minimum order of $250-400 depending on your leadership level.

How often does the catalog change?

Every 2 weeks a new catalog comes out. If you do your orders online, you are able to backorder from the previous 2 campaigns.

Discuss the company support for consultants?

You have an upline who sponsored you into the business and any other community support within that network as well as a District Sales Manager who is a corporate employee of Avon and supports representatives in a particular geographical region.

There are also several free training modules available online 24/7 that help support and train consultants.

What are some of the additional benefits/rewards consultants can earn?

Earning sales levels within President’s Club (selling at least $10,100 in Avon’s fiscal year) will earn recognition and an invitation to a special luncheon/dinner.

Avon continually has incentives going on throughout the year–most usually involve cash incentives, although some have been for trips, product bundles, etc.

Annual trips are also available for top sellers and top performers in leadership.

How often are consultants paid?

Every 2 weeks an order is placed and the consultant collects from their customer once the product is received and then pays Avon and the remainder is the consultant’s profit.

If in leadership, once qualifiers are met for your leadership title, you earn a paycheck every 2 weeks.
