Although we’ve been in the stationery business since 2000, Paperly is a relatively new incarnation. We officially launched in 2007 and have been growing quickly ever since. What is the cost to start up? What comes in the startup kit?
Paperly’s Starter Kit (http://www.paperly.com/kit.asp includes catalogs, loose samples (which alone exceed $275 in retail value!), order forms, business cards, training materials, a Paperly email address, instant access to a personal Paperly website, 2 one-hour training sessions, and much, much more! The investment is only $199 – a relatively minor outlay considering the potential unlimited opportunity.
Are there any additional expenses (startup, yearly renewal, website, etc)?
Paperly’s personalized websites are free for the new Consultant’s first month. Thereafter, the investment is $9.95 per month. As for purchasing additional catalogs or other business supplies, most of Paperly’s Consultants never reach for their wallet. Instead, they use Paperly Dollars that they’ve earned by selling Paperly products. In fact, Consultants can earn hundreds of Paperly Dollars through Paperly’s Fast Start Rewards program.
How much is the commission on personal sales and downline? How often are consultants paid?
Paperly’s commissions range from 20-25% on personal sales and 2-4% on downline sales. Consultants keep the cash and checks paid-out at parties, so in effect, they typically walk away with their commissions in their pockets. However, if money is owed them, Paperly mails commission checks monthly.
What are some of the additional benefits/rewards consultants can earn?
There are many additional benefits/rewards Consultants can earn. For example, for every $1,000 in product sales, Consultants earn 25 Paperly Dollars, which are good towards the purchase of additional business supplies (e.g. catalogs, order forms, etc.) Another example is that Consultants earn a one-time $50 cash bonus when they eclipse $3,500 in lifetime product sales. Other cash bonus opportunities exist.
What is your favorite thing about your company?
By far, the #1 reason Consultants join Paperly is because of their love of the product. They find the designs perfectly match their style, be it casual, contemporary, classical, whimsical, or any other they feel like. The #2 reason Consultants love Paperly is because the market is relatively unsaturated. The idea of selling personalized stationery via at-home parties is fun, new and exciting. Our Consultants love that!
