Madison Handbags is a “Design Your Own Handbag” company offering an exciting new trend in home parties! We provide the unique opportunity to design your very own, one of a kind handbag, custom made for you. Party guests choose from 16 styles of bags, mix and match from over 70 designer fabrics, and one of 10 high quality lining colors. Depending on the style, you have the option to use anywhere from one to 3 different fabrics to create the bag that is unique to your good taste and needs!

Madison Handbags was started in 2005 in Upstate New York. In the beginning the bags were sold to home sewers who would purchase these bags in “ready to be sewn” kits. The company grew so quickly and the concept caught on that by the end of 2006 a manufacturing facility was needed. To this day the manufacturing facility in Troy, NY is providing jobs for not only those making the purses but for all of the approximately 350 Independent Consultants throughout the United States.

What is the cost to start up? What comes in the startup kit?

New Consultants invest $299 (plus tax and shipping) in their starter kit. As extra incentive, when you hold 6 or more qualifying ($400.00 or more in sales) parties in your first 60 days with Madison Handbags, you then receive a $200 retail credit for free handbags of your choice.

Are there any additional expenses (startup, yearly renewal, website, etc)?

There are no additional expenses for selling Madison Handbags. We offer personal websites through the company site for $5.95 a month but, this is completely optional.

How much is the commission on personal sales and downline? How often are consultants paid?

Consultants earn 20% of the retail sales of each party. Additionally, if you have six (6) qualifying parties ($400) per quarter you receive a 5% bonus commision on your total retail sales. Consultants are paid the night of the party for their 20% commisions. The bonus commissions and downline commissions are mailed out as checks every quarter.

Downline commissions are as follows:
3% for first level recruits
2% for second level recruits
1% on 3rd level recruits
and 1/2% on 4th level recruits

What are some of the additional benefits/rewards consultants can earn?

In addition to the great commission structure, Madison Handbags offers sales incentive trips each quarter. Usually the top 10 - 20 Consultants earn the trip. This is very attainable with a company of only 350 Consultants!

Consultants are able to purchase any bag from the collection at any time for 50% off the retail price.

There is a 1% Accrual Account that can be used towards the purchase of new bags for your collection or for gifts.

Also, all “Active” Consultants receive the new fabrics and new handbags as they are introduced (twice a year) for FREE!!!!

Madison Handbags is offers a unique opportunity for our customers to design something very personal to them. Everyone gets exactly what they want. They are the designers.

As a Consultant, I love the fact that I can work my business how I want to. I can work a lot one month and not so much the next. I can work around my children’s schedules and family vacations etc. I am in control. And, all the girls involved are wonderful motivators and offer so much training so that even if you are 3,000 miles from NY you feel you are right next door.
