Heritage Makers helps people everywhere create beautiful, heirloom quality storybooks which celebrates life’s stories to share with family and friends and future generations. They do this with a unique online publishing program. Products offered include: hardbound storybooks of various size, greeting cards, postcards, gallery wrapped canvases and keepsake jewelry.

Heritage Makers was founded in 2005 by Doug Cloward and Dr. Sharon Murdoch. We have over 6,000 Consultants through the United States and Canada.
August of 2009, Heritage Makers was featured on Inc. 500’s exclusive “Fastest Growing Private Companies in America” list. Heritage Makers was ranked as number 132 overall, and number nine in the Consumer Services and Product category.
What is the cost to start up? What comes in the startup kit?
There are currently two startup kit options available. The Essentials Kit costs $124.95 currently (normally $149.95) and has a value of $250. Its contains training materials, supplies, catalogs, order forms to get you started. Product samples and publishing credits so that you can create your own products.
The Business Kit is currently $249.95 ($299.95 normally) valued at over $700. It contains the same as the Essentials Kit plus you get more credits for publishing your own storybooks and more sample products.
Are there any additional expenses (startup, yearly renewal, website, etc)?
Your Consultant website and Virtual Office are included in your startup kits. Yearly renewal is $49.95. You can purchase Club Premier annually at a discounted rate which gives you unlimited access to over 45,000 pieces of art but it is not required. They also offer monthly plans too, also optional.
How much is the commission on personal sales and downline? How often are consultants paid?
Heritage Makers offers its Consultants a Pay Per Performance Compensation Plan. Consultants earn commissions ranging from 10-30% on the products and services purchased by clients. Consultants are paid twice a month.
What are some of the additional benefits/rewards consultants can earn?
Consultants can earn various Performance Bonuses for their performance as well as cash bonuses when you reach various Leadership Levels and there are car bonuses for the Executive Consultants. Leadership Retreats are held throughout the year. Regional and National Training Conferences. Cruises, etc.
What is your favorite thing about your company?
I have been really impressed with the family atmosphere that surrounds Heritage Makers. They listen to their Consultants and are always striving to help us be more successful in our business. I also love the fact that there is no inventory to track or carry with you.
What is your favorite product?
The 8×8 Storybook has been my favorite product so far. It’s size is perfect for your children to hold and read. My son’s eyes light up each time he pulls his book off the book shelf.
