Have You Found Your Passion?
When looking for a home party company to join, the one piece of advice I always give is “find your passion”. Basically what this means is you need to find a home party business that sells a product YOU love. If you truly are passionate about the products, it will be much easier for you to sell. Your customers will feel your passion and your sales will go up and up.
However, if you represent a home party company that sells something that you may not like but you feel it would be a good seller, your customers can easily sense this and your sales may suffer. For example, I thought about joining a home party business that sells wine. I know tons of people who love wine, however, I’m not one of them. How could I possibly sell a product that I don’t like or even want to try? Now, if there were a home party business that sells Bud Light Lime’s then I’d be all over that!
Where to start?
That part is easy, first ask yourself these types of questions:
- What types of home parties do you enjoy attending?
- What products do you use?
- What products do you find interesting?
Next, make a list of things you like to do or buy:
- Are you crafty and love to scrapbook?
- Do you love getting all dressed up in beautiful jewelry or getting pampered with lotions and make up?
- Are you crazy for great handbags or kitchen gadgets?
- How about coffee, tea, chocolate or even tools?
OK, now you have your short list of things you love and could see yourself selling. The next step is to look for companies that sell those type of products. Of course along the way you may find other things you are passionate about but you at least have a start. The great part is that in the booming home party industry, there is a company for everyone. You just need to find yours.
