Avon Products, Inc. has something for everyone in the family — including pets. From skincare, makeup, clothing, health items and household goods. ALL products are priced reasonably.

Provide a brief company history including how long in business and how many consultants in how many countries.

Avon Products, Inc. is a very stable company - being in business for 123 years and being sold in over 140 countries worldwide. I, personally, have been an Independent Representative with Avon for 3 years. With Avon, you work your own hours and work when you want — “freedom.” Be your own boss.

What is the cost to start up? What comes in the startup kit?

Avon’s start-up cost is just $10.00 which purchases an appointment kit, samples, contact cards on skincare products and two sets of brochures.

Are there any additional expenses (startup, yearly renewal, website, etc)?

You can have your own website, which is free for your first 3 months and can remain free, as long as you have an order placed online (no matter the amount of the order). Otherwise, it’s $7.50 per campaign (2 campaigns a month). What’s also great about having a website, you can have online parties while you’re having in-house parties for each client!

How much is the commission on personal sales and downline? How often are consultants paid?

Just starting your business with Avon, you earn 40% of what you sell for your first two months; then its based on how much you sell — which can still be between 20% to 50%. You basically get out of Avon what you are willing to put into it. Whether you are in Sales only, or in Sales and Leadership, you earn twice a month.

What are some of the additional benefits/rewards consultants can earn?

Avon has all types of incentives throughout the entire year that representatives can earn. Incentives range from money, free trips, etc. There’s so much more to Avon than just “selling.”

What is your favorite thing about your company?

My favorite thing about Avon is being to work from home, earning the income that I do all while being at home with my girls as they grow up.

What is your favorite product?

I have so many favorites with Avon, but one that comes to mind quickly are the Glimmersticks; which are the eye and lip liners. They’re not hard and they don’t require a sharpener. The fragrances are great also, Imari holds my heart there.
